25Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
-There is a reason that we do this. It is because we're all one body. We're the same thing.
26"In your anger do not sin"[d]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
-Anger is a very good catalyst for sin. We need to be extremely careful of it. Think of all that can happen in a night as we let anger brew.
27and do not give the devil a foothold.
-The devil uses anger so much.
28He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.
-Maybe this is brougth up because stealing was one of the major reasons for anger at the time. Or was the reason for the topic.
29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
-This is a Huge rule to follow as we talk to each other. To much gets out that should be taken care of before it leaves our mouths.
30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
-These things makes God very sad. It's like greiving out significant other. That would really ruin your day.
31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
-Very big clue on how to deal with each other. These things are choices not just reactions.
32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
-Life would be so much better if we chose these first.
