Monday, October 5- 3 John 11-14

-3 John is such a short book.

11Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
-This lesson is easier said then done. Imitate good not evil. Does so much good for a persons life, yet we avoid it so often. Dunno why evil is tempting. This little command shows us who we are inside tho. There's so much evil in the world that we need to recognize as evil. Somethings we just think are good cause of how they make us feel. Comparing things to scripture is the standard.

12Demetrius is well spoken of by everyone—and even by the truth itself. We also speak well of him, and you know that our testimony is true.

13I have much to write you, but I do not want to do so with pen and ink.
-Longing to talk face to face as is often the case in relationships. Pen/phone is just distant.
