Thursday, October 16- Romans 12:1

-I did Romans 12:2 the other day so i figured might as well do 12:1.

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.
-Therefore refers to the glory of God, the unserachable wisdom that He shows, as well as other things about God. Because we recoginize this, expspecially God's mercy toward us we should sacrifice ourselves as well. A servant is no greater than his master. Since Jesus died for us and sacrificed himself, we should also do the same. This type of sacrifice is pleasing and makes us holy. This is what worship in the spiritual sense is. As we sing, worship, live life it needs to be constant sacrfice for his glory. We lose nothing and gain everything when we worship him as such. It's difficult but God will slowly change us into this. That's the hope we have when we realize that God is working in our lives.
