In this passage Jesus and his disciples run into a blind man. They ask Jesus the cause of his blindness. He said it wasn't his sin or his parents. Jesus heals the man using mud and telling him to wash. Others who knew him wondered how his eyes were open. He says Jesus did it.
From this passage I can learn that sin isn't the cause of all ailments. Sometimes people over spiritualize all ailments. Not everything is from sin or the work of the devil. Also, I can learn that Jesus can do amazing things. It's kind of mysterious the method he uses on people to heal them. It seems so varied how people are healed. There's no real common action for healing.
