John 12:23-36

In this passage Jesus talks about how a sacrifice multiplies as it lives or dies. Live for this world and you die, but if you hate the world you live. Life is in the service of God. God validates his statements by a loud voice that the crowd could hear. The crowd was confused and asked more questions. Jesus didn't really seem to answer their question. He just basically said to trust him while they could.

Jesus speaks challenging words here. He asks for an entire world view change and not just a simple response. He doesn't ask for part of someones life, but all of it. The results are amazing for people that die to the world and live as slaves for Christ. It takes real humility to live life as such. A very selfless life. It's strange how its so opposite what this world strives for. Hopefully we can see some people willing to live this life that Christ lived. The world really needs devoted people. So many Christians in the world. So few devoted, sold out ones.
