John 11:16-29

In this passage Jesus goes to visit the now dead Lazarus. On his arrival he has conversations with mary and martha. With martha he talks about the resurrection.

This passage provides interesting insight into how God works. With Lazarus dead he had the whole scenario planned in advance to glorify himself. Even as mary and martha were probably praying and wanting his healing from his sickness God waited. Martha believes Jesus could've healed him, but she also believes him when he says he can raise him right there. She believes in him. Her belief is not based on the circumstances, but just in faith. That's a great faith to model after.
