John 8:48-59

In this passage the heated argument between Jesus and the Jews continues. The people resort to name calling. Jesus continues to defend himself and teach about himself. This only seems to add fuel to the fire. They think he's crazy. Jesus says a lot of things that are hard for the people to believe. It enrages them and causes them to want to stone him.

From this passage I can learn that the things Jesus has to say are worth investigating. Either he's crazy or he's got something. There are many crazy people with not much substance to them. Jesus has something. There is life in his words. Although difficult to believe they are believable.
