John 6:59-71

-In this passage the people grumble about the hard teaching that Jesus gave. Among the people there were some that followed Jesus and believed and some who followed and didn't believe. Those who believe were enabled by God to do so. After Jesus spoke to them many stopped following him. Jesus asked his 12 what they wanted to do. They said they would follow.

-This must've been a very difficult point in their relationship. Jesus caused a point where they had to really decide what they believed. It was great that so many followed him, but for what reason? Christ made it clear to them what they believed. I'm sure many followed because Jesus was like a walking magic act. There are many exciting, emotional, and appealing aspects about the church/christ to follow, but in the end the real heart of the reason must be true.
