John 5:39-47

In this passage the people Jesus speaks to don't see God's word as it should be. Their problem is that they seek praise from man and not from God. Moses accuses them by the very word they seek to keep.

From this passage I can learn to be careful with God's word. People misinterpret or believe in it falsely all the time. The core of it is not a difficult message to understand. The other thing to becareful of is not to desire praise from man. God's praise is the only thing we should hold onto. It's amazing how people give so much attention to mans view, but not Gods. Gods is the most important and we should seek to please him.
