13We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
-Another way we know. Do we have his spirit in us?
14And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
-We also know about Jesus. We realize the reality that he ws savior of the world.
15If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.
-This is what happens as we believe. This is what we need to do to have him live in us.
16And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
-God and love are so related. Can't have one without the other. We must keep loving as he does. It's important to the health of our relationship with him.
17In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.
-This is a way to build confidence of our salvation. Keep loving. If its a fake love we'll get easily frustrated, but a real love will make it.
18There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
-fear is contrary to love. Pefect love drives fear away. With love in the picture fear doesn't exist. What a way to live.

Verse 16 reminds me of our bulletin board and our sunday service programs.. God ↔ love.
