16If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that.
-This is talking about some serious stuff that we should be serious about. Seems like church is so accepting now a days that we don't do what we should as far as helping our bro/sis keep pure. When the body of believers gets into some bad stuff we need to care about them even though its uncomfortable.
17All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.
-Kind of odd how he generalizes so much about this sin that does not lead to death. He draws a line between two different types of sin. All sin is wrong and all wrong is sin. They are one in the same because they both violate the character of God who's image we are built in. Sin is a serious topic that we should reflect on. We shouldn't take it so lightly.
