-In this passage Joshua reminds the people that the Lord has given them the victory. Because of God one man could slay lots of enemies. Without God it is impossible so they have to becareful to keep their relationship with God good. One way they could fail is by intermarrying with the people of the land that they were supposed to wipe out. They will trap them by steering them away from God. Joshua reminds them again that God has done everything he has promised. If they break the covenant with God then God's anger will burn against them.
-From this passage I can learn that I must follow God's commands and that its hugely important to keep a good relationship with God. With God all things are possible. Without him things are doomed. It's easy to get involved with the people of the land so that they will lead our hearts astray. We must becarful who we yoke ourselves together with. Again its a reminder of God's faithfulness and a warning against our turning away from him.
