-In this passage the lands are divided among the Israelites. Caleb goes to Joshua and has a conversation with him about the lands. He tells him of how Moses swore land to him because he was faithful to God. Joshua agrees to give him the land.
-From this passage I can learn that being faithful to God has its great reward. Caleb had always been faithful and trusting God since day one. Although many doubted Caleb always followed God wholeheartedly. Even in his conquest of the heavily fortified cities Caleb's faith in God shows. After a lifetime of trusting in God his faith is strong. We must learn to have a faith that trusts God as Calebs does. Even in his old age he knows God will give him what was promised to him.
