-This passage talks about how Israel took possession of the land and gave them rest. Every promise that God had provided was fulfilled. Joshua tells some of the tribes that they did well and to be careful to obey God. To love him and to serve him. Joshua blessed them and sent them away.
-From this passage I can learn again that God keeps his promises. Even though the journey was very long for Isreal God kept his word. I can always trust that God will be true to what he says. He blessed them wonderfully. The only warning to all this was to obey God and keep his commandments. To love and serve him. Otherwise they would run into trouble. This is the same for us.
