-In this passage Joshua was commanded by God to carry the ark around Jericho. Jericho was a tough problem in this case because it was strongly fortified. The commands given for Joshua to go around the city were very specific. Israel does as it's commanded.
-I can learn from this passage obedience. When difficult times come obedience. God's commands are usually simple enough to follow. We are just stubborn in our obedience. Even though the plan doesn't seem to make a lot of sense, it is God's way so it is the right way. God is clear in his commands and we need to follow them. This will get us to victory. Another problem is that sometimes we're impatient to follow God's commands. We need to trust and obey.
