-In this passage some kings get together and gang up on Gibeon, a city that had made a treaty with Israel. As they do this the city cries out to Israel for help. Israel responds quickly and the Lord promises victory. Israel surprises and defeats the enemy. In their pursuit of the enemies a hail storm kills many of the enemy. And as Israel pursues the enemy the sun stands still so that they can pursue the enemies.
-In this passage I can learn that all things are possible with God. When God says something will happen it does. I can learn to have faith in God because with him the victory is assured. So many miraculous things happened that day. It'd be easy to call it chance and circumstance, but really it was God working. It is good to know that we have a God that does good for us.
