Wednesday, Dec 16- 1 Corin 10:31-33

31So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
-Popular verse. Kind of like a bottom line statement. There's a lot of possiblities, but if we keep God's glory in mind we'll be pretty safe. We can still go wrong, but most likely we'll go right.

32Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God—
-More good advice in grey areas. Think about other people. Doesn't matter if they are part of the church or not. If it makes them stumble, look at the church poorly, or look at God poorly then we should avoid it.

33even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.
-Salvation is the goal. It's not always about us and our own comfort. Sometimes we have to leave our own good for the good of others. And salvation is a huge good for others. Some good advice from Paul.
