Monday, November 2- 1 Corinthians 3:10-15

10By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds.
-Everyone has a job to do. Some specialize at foundations and some specialize at building up. we probably shouldn't expect everyone to be an expert at everything. We should just do our best at what we've been given to do. And we should do this cautiously cause a bad builder could cause the building to collapse.

11For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
-Some people adding to much to the foundation may be adding things that aren't necessary and causing confusion or making the structure weaker.

12If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work.
-It doesn't matter what you build with, in the end the fire will test if it stands in the end. So we should build carefully to make sure our work stands.

14If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward.
-Yay!

15If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
-This is the sad side of building bad. And this is the warning as well. We need to make sure we build well. Like really be careful.
