-Next subject after marriage is food from idol sacrifice. Must've been a hot topic of the time. In regard to this the first thing identified is knowledge versus love. Knowledge is good, but it can have the effect of making one proud. With any arguing the bottom line must be for us to build each other up in love, not just to see who's write or wrong.
2The man who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know.
-This can be the case a lot of times. In knowledge the person gets something wrong. Nothing is accomplished in this persons pride.
3But the man who loves God is known by God.
-beyond just the pursuit of knowledge is loving God. Not that knowledge isn't important, but it must be under girded by love. Love love love. Don't just spout out rules/knowledge/commands, spout them out with love to those that disagree.
