Tuesday, April 14- Romans 6:15-18

15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!
-Its always amazing what people try to get away with in life. We are so selfish we try to get away with everything we can and still eat our cake too. We always want all the pleasures of this world and still find our way under God's grace. We have to understand the pleasure of God is better than any of the pleasures of this world. God is so amazing when we bow down and let him work in our hearts. He provides everything for our enjoyment.

16Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?
-We're slaves to something, it's just a matter of what. We need to realize the realities and boundaries of slavery. Slavery is to one owner. We're protected and punished under that owners rules. We must consider carefully who we choose as our master. There is an end to all the fun and games. The end is what we should pay close attention to.

17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted.
-Our freedom from the bondage of sin is reason to be thankful. Do we realize that we're free. Maybe we live under sin as though we were still owned by him. How foolish of us when we can just stand up and run away.

18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
-Our new owner of righteousness is very different from sin. There are different rules under this household that we must follow. Some may seem stricter, but they have a lasting benefit. We can't run around as fools, we know better. Be faithful.
