Micah 7:7-20

In this passage Israel speaks and recognizes that they have wronged the Lord but they look forward to rising again. They recognize that the walls will go up again one day. God's compassion and graciousness is recognized. It's an amazing thing that God would rebuild not only the city but his relationship with the people of Israel. They sin against God so many times. They pay the penalty for it, but then they see God's mercy and grace. This is much the same in our own lives. We sin but if we stick with God we eventually get restored in God's mercy. We're lucky to have a God like that. Even though it may be tough for a time I'll keep looking to God and wait for his mercy in my sin.
