Genesis 5

this passage starts with a recap of the creation of man. Man created male and female in God's likeness. again this is repeated so it is important for us to recognize this. its interesting in this account it has seth as the one listed as adams offspring. maybe because seth was the one the lineage would be generated off of. the lineage lists many people some that sound familiar and some that don't. it ends with noah with a saying of his name. i don't know how the saying exactly fits though because i don't know how he really brings comfort. But i guess when i read about him maybe i can see it more then. Either way God has a plan for the ages. some people are more significant than others. but in the end they all play an important role of advancing the plan of Jesus coming. So whether we think we're big or small in God's plan we all have a roll to play and that is part of faith. So we must keep pressing on.
