Genesis 1:14-19

On this day God created 2 great lights and the stars to govern the days. In this God made such an important creation to us. We govern so much of life by these 2 great lights. All of life on earth exists because of the light God creates. The way God weaves such simple language deep into all of creation is amazing. This is the same with a lot of things. God gives us his word. His word should govern so much of our lives. If we miss this light in our lives we're lost and dead. But if we let it interact with us it weaves it's way into the most complicated and even most hidden parts of life. Jesus is the light of the world. Again, creation to serve as illustration. I need more light in my life.
