Gensis 1:24-31

On the sixth day God created all the animals on the earth including man. Each was made according to its kind. Man was made special because he was made in God's likeness and image. This is very significant. Not only is it likeness and image but rulership is also given to man. This is something that none of the other living beings were given. That's a pretty big task in and of itself. With rulership comes a lot of responsibility. Again everything in creation was given with illustration purpose to know and understand God. Going thru these last few days has given me a real appreciation about this. It's not just fancy creation or technical creation or scientific creation, but it all points to God. It shows him and it is used to illustrate in our lives who he is and how we should live.
