Judges 6:25-40

-In this passage Gideon begins by tearing down alters to bad gods and transforming them into proper alters to God. The next day the people noticed what had happened and they demanded the death of Gideon. Gideon's father defended him by saying that baal would kill him if he could defend himself and the people left it at that. Next some of the bad guy countries came into the land. Gideon asked God for a sign before he went into battle with them. He asked for another.

-Gideon's new found faith kind of went back and forth. He did the alter thing but needed a bit more assurance for the war thing. Both put his life in danger. Maybe he got yelled at by his dad after making the alters the first time. Either way he was growing in his faith. We should also be growing in our faith as well. One step at a time we should be trusting God and obeying.
