John 1:1-14

This passage says that the word always existed and is God. It talks about the word not just as a book or written language but as a person. This word became flesh...an allusion to Christ. Christ came into the world, but the world that he created didn't even recognize him because of sin. John the baptist came as one preparing the way for Christ.

This passage actually says a lot. It's a strange way for Christ to talk about himself as the word. The word being God it's kind of interesting to think about it as such. It's even neater that God created this plan of salvation the way he did. Even though the world rejects him he still offers and draws people to himself. Guess our only response is to be thankful and worship him.
