John 4:1-15

In this passage Jesus talks to a samaritan woman. He was alone because his disciples left him to go buy food. He asks for water. The woman recognizes that jews and samaritans don't really talk so she's a bit surprised that he asks. He replies oddly and says he could give her living water. She's seems confused by this but asks for some.

From this passage I can learn that Jesus loves everyone. It's not a matter of race or sex for him, he wants people to know the gospel. Just because he's not supposed to talk to people doesn't stop him from sharing with those who need it. We should also share the gospel freely.
