In this passage samson's parents continue their conversation with the angel of the Lord. Manoah asks some things of the angel, but the angel responds with replys that are probably unexptected by manoah. As the burnt sacrfice is offered the angel goes up in the flames to heaven. I guess they didn't realize that it wasn't just a man they were talking to until this moment. sometime after this they gave birth to samson. In the passage that follows samson sees a philistine woman he wants to marry. his parents want him to marry from among his own people but he insists on it being her.
Some things to learn from this passage is to treat everyone kindly because we never know if we're entertaining angels. another thing to learn is that God will make his point clear that He is speaking to us. It seems that most of the time when God wants to lead us He is pretty clear in his commands. Another thing is that God can work thru our mistakes as well as our good choices. We shouldn't be yoked with unbelievers though. This just causes trouble.
