John 2:13-25

In this passage Jesus drives money changers and people selling animals in the temple courts. The people ask him for a sign that gives him the authority to do this. He told them he'd rebuild the temple. He means his body, but the people take it to be the temple that they are standing in. He continued to do miracles during the passover and many believed in him.

From this passage I can learn that we should honor God's house. The people didn't belong there selling things just as much as many other corrupt things don't belong in church. We should fight for what is right in righteousness. Jesus didn't stand on the sideline. I guess the people would never destroy the temple because it took to long to build. Miracles and signs help to affirm a prophet or teacher bringing new teaching.
