-Paul gives instructions on how the people should live. Very simply, not like the gentiles. Reason being that they don't think right. They don't understand right because they are ignorant of God. They induldge in sin so much that they aren't sensitive to it anymore. They lost thier morality. For the christian they know the truth. They should not live like they used to. We are told to put on a new attitude. Think righteousness and holiness.
-There's a lot to learn from this passage. It tells of the condition of sinful man. Some non-christians dive into sin more than others, but the story is the same. They can't please God cause they don't know him. Because of this they are not the example we should follow. We shouldn't be taking any cues of wisdom from them. We need to live from the Bible. We need to live the truth we know and seek righteousness. It's a tough battle becuase the sin in us is jealous of how the unrighteous live. But that is foolishness when we know what we have thru the cross.
