Tuesday, March 31- Romans 5:1-5

1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
-Faith leads to peace with God. that means we were at war with God before. War with God is a bad place to be. Its amazing that he allows peace.

2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
-Jesus is the key to this peace. Faith gets us into grace. Being here should make us rejoice. This rejoicing is in Hope, something in the future.

3Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
-We rejoice in glory of God, but also in suffering. Interesting turn of suffering. Now suffering is explained.

4perseverance, character; and character, hope.
-a very important progression of characteristics to follow.

5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
-Hope is a very strong thing to have. We are waiting on God and God works.
-Build up hope and use hope to carry on.
