Sunday, March 15- Romans 1:18-25

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of human beings who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
-This sounds kind of scary. I wouldn't want to be in a path that included the wrath of God. Wrath is for the godless and those who would suppress the truth. Suppresers would at least know that it is truth and then put it down.

19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
-Again, the truth is known because it is plain.

20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
-There should be enough evidence to all men that they would be without an excuse. They'll be guilty of something.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
-What a sad testimony. That people could know God, but refuse to do the right thing. The human heart is so wicked. It chooses such evil over what is right.

22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal human beings and birds and animals and reptiles.
-What an insult to God to exchange images for God. It's an amazing thing that they could claim to be wise yet be so foolish.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
-The result of a lifestyle like that leads to God giving them what they want. This is truly freewill that has run its course.

25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
-Truth for a lie. Another sad testimony. There are so many people that are so satisfied living in a lie. It sounds so backward that people live like that when it's expressed as it is. People would think that Christians live backwards, but this seems worse.
-Gotta pray that people so blind would be able to see the error of theirs ways.
