Proverbs 20:1-10

1 Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler;
whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
-Another indicator of wise and unwise. Too much alcohol can lead to all kinds of bad results. We need to watch out especially since the world prizes it so much and the lifestyle associated with it. People are such lemmings when it comes to things like this.

3 It is to a man's honor to avoid strife,
but every fool is quick to quarrel.
-This is a good definition of a fool. One that is quick to fight. This usually gets people into trouble quick. It's hard to understand why people can't just think before they talk. Or search for the truth before they speak.

10 Differing weights and differing measures—
the LORD detests them both.
-Simple lesson here. Be honest in what you do. This goes for school and work. We think we get away with cheating but we never do. It hurts our character and our relationship with God.
