Proverbs 19:1-9

2 It is not good to have zeal without knowledge,
nor to be hasty and miss the way.
-This is good advice. I've probably been here to in life. People have good energy and zeal for God, but sometimes they don't know the right way to work it out. The zeal is good but the end product is bad. It's a shame when people with good intentions mess things up because their knowledge of the Bible is bad.

3 A man's own folly ruins his life,
yet his heart rages against the LORD.
-I've seen this in life a lot also. People live in sin and blame God. I don't know exactly why this is. Maybe because people hate to blame themselves for their own mistakes. Their own pride is to much to see the real errors in life are caused by themselves.

8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
he who cherishes understanding prospers.
-More motivation to stay in God's word. We abandon it so easily like it's just some strangers advice. We need to see the real value of God's word. It's so sad that we make it so worthless. How can anything in life keep us away from this?
