Verse 12: This one is kind of funny. It sounds crazy but it's probably more true than we think. If we meet a mean bear all we do is die. If we meet a fool and are influenced by them then we get our life into all kinds of sin and trouble.
Verse 13: This is a good proverb to learn forgiveness. Paying back evil is circular. We might think it ends when we get the person back, but it goes on and on. Forgiveness stops the circle. It's hard but the best thing for life.
