Wed, Jan 13- Psalms 83:1-18

-In this Psalm the writer is again faced with oposition from enemies. As these enemies are plotting to destroy Israel the Psalmist is asking God to act and destroy the enemy. He asks this so that the name of God will be worshiped.

-From this psalm I need to learn to trust in God during any situation. This guy could have spent lots of time planning militarily or other planning, but his priority is to go to God for help. Not that they didn't do that other stuff. But is God at the heart of it all? For him it was. All for God's glory, not just our own comfort. God's glory needs to be at the center of everything.
