Genesis 9:8-17

In this passage God makes a covenant with Noah, but not just him all the animals as well. Funny that God adds them to the covenant. The covenant simply says he won't destroy the earth. The sign of the covenant is a rainbow. This is to symbolize and for God to remember that he won't destroy the earth again. I suppose this is good because the earth always turns toward wickedness. I guess this shows God's passion for goodness and righteousness. He really wants purity. God demands this of us. When we look at the rainbow we should remember how much God loves righteousness and justice. We should be sincere in seeking it.
