Genesis 14:1-16

In this passage there are a lot of kings listed. Very detailed these people were. A little bit of history is added here about who defeated who. In all the battles Lot got carried away. Abram sent out some men to chase after them. In his chasing he recovered Lot and his possessions. Lot is a very lucky guy. I suppose it's good to have good friends or relatives. It would almost seem overwhelming to be captured by 4 kings. Maybe these kings didn't have thousands of men or maybe it was easier to fight them as they were retreating. Whatever the case it's good to have a friend that will fight for you. We should fight for each other when we get captured by men or sin or circumstance. this is a noble thing to do.
