Genesis 18:1-15

in this passage some visitors come to abraham and sarah. he recognizes them as something special and races to prepare food for them to eat. as they eat they tell abraham that he will have a son next year. sarah laughs but they question her laughter. this is a strange little story. God does stuff in strange ways. this seems so random, but God is constantly telling them the same thing. That they are going to have a child and that through him he will make a whole people. Maybe God does all this to build their faith in him. if it just kind of happened they would just think it was by chance. but by drilling it in their head they can truly see and say that this was through God. Hopefully I can see this in the things in my life. not calling them just chance but really seeing how God works and watches over me.
