Genesis 18:16-33

In this passage the men leave. As they are leaving they tell Abraham what is going to happen. The Lord plans on destroying sodom and gomorrah because of their sinfulness. Abraham kind of negotiates with the Lord and whittles it down to save the cities for 10 righteous people. It was bold of Abraham to do that. But not even 10 righteous people were in the cities. Another interesting perspective into God and Abrahams life. Was this all for Abrahams growth and character? I wonder how I would've done in showing mercy or pleading for mercy on the behalf of others. Abraham was a righteous man. I should learn to pray and plead for others even the unrighteous. Not just that they'd survive, but that they would be able to know God.
