Genesis 13

In this passage Abram leaves Egypt and heads back to where he made the altar. Him and lot were blessed with lots of money and livestock. Him and Lot had so much that they couldn't reside near each other. This must've created a lot of drama between the two peoples. So Abram told him to choose left or right and he'd go the opposite way. Seems like a simple solution to the problem. So they split up. Lot ended up choosing land with very wicked people living in it. God again blesses Abram with a promise that he'll get lots of land and his descendants will be great in number. Couple things to learn from this. One is to work out your problems. The solution was simple enough between lot and Abram. It was just a matter of that and problem solved. Another lesson is to watch where you live. If you live with a bunch of bad people bad things will probably happen. Abram is a lucky guy to have been chosen by God. But we should all be faithful to whatever God chooses for us great or small.
