Genesis 14:17-24
In this passage the kings of the land come to meet with Abram. They bless him and recognize God thru him. The kings give thanks to him for bringing back their people and stuff. They offer him all the goods that they saved and just wanted the people back. He refuses the goods and tells them that he doesn't want to give them any credit for his wealth but only God. This is a nice act of faith towards God. He recognizes that God is the one that provides for him. It would've probably been very tempting to take so much, but I guess whats the point when you already have so much. Abram knows how to be content with what God gives him. We should learn that contentment also. Whether rich or poor as long as we have God we're okay.
