Genesis 11:10-32

Well from yesterday I learned that what the people were trying to do was against God and very arrogant and prideful. Babel was attributed to the Babylonians and they were trying to make a gateway to God. Was God's punishment for them justified? It seems a little extreme to me, but I don't know what the situation was like. They could've really been out of hand in their desire for power and fame.

This passage is mostly genealogies. Kinda boring really, but some how its historically important to tie the Bible together. Well at least it ties Noah to Abram. The end of the passage gives a little history on Abrams family. There's not that much applicable. It's mostly just history. We learn how Lot is related to Abram and that Sarai married Abram here. From the very beginning of Sarai's introduction the fact that she was barren was attached to her. Kind of sad.
