1 Corinthians 10:12-22
Paul begins with a warning to those who think they are standing firm. Many times this is dangerous because a fall could soon be in sight. The temptations that come are common. There's nothing really all that new. It's all the same things that mankind has been struggling with through history. But even in all of these God doesn't give us more than we can bear. This is encouraging because we can always bear it and there is always a way out. The way out isn't so we're free from it necessarily, but so we can endure it. He encourages the people to stay away from idolatry. Even though idols are nothing and food sacrificed to them means nothing in a way it is still something done to a demon. We should avoid anything to do with them. It's just a bad association. We just need to be wise in the way we live.
