Hebrews 11:1-6
This passage talks about faith. It begins by defining it. Faith is belief in something that we can't see or touch. It's difficult at times because we want faith to be something that we've seen and touched. Once we've truly seen it it's not faith anymore it's actuality. We can have strong faith in God though because he is someone trustworthy enough to believe in. If it was a very obscure God that we knew little about it would be hard. God reveals himself to everyone. Faith allows us to believe that God created the universe. Faith in God allows us to be able to please God. Faith isn't necessarily easy, but it is necessary and possible. Faith allows us to know there is a reward for our lives offered to God. It's not the easiest way, but faith allows us to persevere in difficult circumstances. So we need to grow faith a little at a time and keep challenging it and not giving up on it. It's fragile as much as it is strong, but it'll get us there if we hold onto it.
