Hebrews 10:26-31
This passage talks about those who ultimately reject God after knowing his graces. I don't think the deliberate means making a mistake or two, but ultimately rejecting God and deliberately sinning knowing what God is all about. These people are in bad shape. It's like rejecting a steak even after tasting and knowing how good it is. People who reject steak not knowing how it tastes is different. Those who really know God and reject him are in for stricter judgment. It's kind of a whoa to many people that grow up in the church and leave it. They don't seem to think it's a big deal, but they don't know how big a deal it really is. If the Bible calls it a dreadful thing it really must be terrible beyond what we might think it is. We should pray for those we know that are in this camp and try to persuade them to repent and return. We should also guard our own hearts from being hardened and walking this path.
