-In this passage there is a beast that arises. This beast is given power by the dragon. People worshiped both the dragon and the beast. They both said bad things about God. They were given a time to reign on earth. Everyone who isn't written in the book of life worshiped them. It won't be an easy time for saints.
-From this passage I can learn that God is in control. This seems to be one of the things to learn from Revelations. Even though things are bad, God is always the one who plans these things. Even from the beginning God has chosen those who will be saved. Even though the enemy may seem to have control, it was all ordained by God. We can trust God no matter what the situation.
