-In this passage John talks about how he was called to write this book. He was at the island of Patmos and a loud voice told him to write these things. He describes what he saw as he turned to look at the voice. It was a very strange description of someone walking near a lampstand. It was very majestic sounding.
-From this passage I can learn to be in awe of God. The picture that John paints is the best he can do with his words, but it must've been magnificent. An awesome sight. This is how I should consider God when i think of him. Awe inspiring.
