-Jesus writes to the church in Pergamum. He tells them that he's encouraged that satan has a strong hold of that area yet they stay faithful. The thing that is held against them is that they accept teachings of a bad teachers. They need to repent of this and change. To those who overcome this they will be given some rewards.
-From this passage I can learn to stay faithful in sinful places. Also it's important to not take in false teachers. We need to be repentant of sinfulness of bad teaching in our lives. We can't allow this to become okay.
