Yesterday we did a Bible study on piety and wisdom. It wasn't that great a Bible study in the fact that the questions were all a little to straight forward and simple. There were a few illustrations that he mentioned that were notable though. One of them was that a tree doesn't bear fruit for itself, but for others to enjoy. Now that's a good reason to bear fruit. Thinking of others is usually a good thing.
